SKOWHEGAN - State Police this morning arrested a Skowhegan woman in connection with the Christmas Eve stabbing death of a man at her apartment.
Karen McCaul was arrested after being released from a undisclosed hospital in the state. McCaul is charged with murder and is scheduled to appear in Somerset Superior Court in Skowhegan at 1 p.m. Jan. 6.
The body of 63 year old Richard Howe was found in McCaul's apartment at 36 High Street during the afternoon of December 24. McCaul has been hospitalized since that day.
