BANGOR – Police are looking to the public to help locate a man who allegedly assaulted his live-in girlfriend.
On Jan. 26 around 8:30 a.m., Officer Dennis Townsend responded to a Willow Street address to the report of a domestic fight. Townsend obtained information from the victim, who also reported that her live-in boyfriend, Jonathan Moir, 31, of Bangor, had run from the scene before the officer arrived. At this time there is probable cause to arrest Moir for domestic violence assault. He also has an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear, for a 90 day jail sentence.
